Common Questions

Do I need a special account to sign in?

You only need the meeting link to join. However, if you plan on booking with us regularly, we recommend that you sign up for an account.

What kind of hardware do I need?

Video
For the best experience we recommend that you use a laptop with a working microphone, webcam and speakers and/or headphones. We recommend using headphones during the meeting to minimize any echo. You can also join the meeting through your mobile device or tablet, but you’ll need to make sure it’s plugged in and firmly set against another object so you don’t have to hold it.

Audio Only
If you don’t need video, you can join by telephone by dialing the number provided to you in your invite and entering the meeting code.

How many people can join at once?

Our meetings can host up 300 people at once.

How do I make sure my client and I are ready for the meeting?

First, try to Join a Test Meeting and make sure your microphone, speakers, and webcam are all working. If you run into any issues, then watch this 2-minute video on how to configure your microphone, speakers and webcam. If you want a more in-depth test, then schedule a video conference test call with us.

What happens if there’s a problem?

All of our reporters are trained in basic troubleshooting, but if it’s something they can’t handle one of support staff will join the call.

Is my internet fast enough for video conferencing?

If you can stream Netflix, you’re internet is probably fast enough to handle video conferencing. You can perform a speed test here - we recommend that you have download and upload speeds of at least 1.5 Mbps. Note that your speeds may vary depending on time of day and the strength of your WiFi connection. Unfortunately, poor WiFi connections in the home are common place, so we recommend using an Ethernet cable if you can.

Can I share documents in the meeting?

You can transfer files directly through the video conference chat, or you can share your screen or individual document with the click of a button so that everyone can see it on their screen.

How can I speak to my client in private?

Our reporter, or meeting operator can schedule a breakout room for you and your client. If you want more flexibility than we recommend calling them via telephone or Skype.

How do I prep my client before the meeting?

If you need time to prep your client, just let us know in advance, and we’ll start the meeting early and assign you to a breakout room so you can speak in private.

Can I convert my video conference into a in-person booking?

Our video conferencing will seamlessly integrate with our in office experience; however, we’re waiting on the all clear from government health officials until we resume normal operations.
